WELCOME

We are a people called Faith Community...

We are a people called Faith Community.  Our Mission is to seek out, witness to, and disciple the unsaved and the unchurched in the inner city, especially the communities of Fairfield, Whitcomb and Creighton Courts in the East End of the city of Richmond.

We believe that God wants to use us to raise up in the heart of this community a "faith community" who will be committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ and dedicated to the building of a community that will model the gospel message of Jesus Christ through love for God, self and others.

God has called us into existence to seek the salvation of sinners, the reclamation of backsliders, the sanctification of saints, the liberation of the oppressed and the empowerment of the African American community spiritually, ecomonically, educationally, and socially.

We are a people called Faith Community, and we thank God for calling us into being.

This was the culmination of a year of intense yearning to know the will and direction of the Lord for her life. Having received this vision from the Lord, Pastor Gould-Champ, who was the Executive Minister at the Thirty-first Street Baptist Church at the time, pondered it in her heart and waited for further direction from the Lord. In May 1994, the Lord sharpened the vision to focus on Fairfield and Whitcomb Courts in the East End of the City of Richmond...
